Unlike traditional smooth microfiber, waffle weave microfiber has a raised texture that significantly increases its absorbency, making it much more effective than most microfiber towels available on the market.
Kawelä's waffle weave microfiber is designed to prevent sand from sticking to it. Its textured surface provides less contact area than traditional fabric, which prevents grains of sand from getting lodged in the fibers. The result: sand simply slides off with a gentle shake, keeping the towel clean at all times—even at the beach.
Kawelä towels are both larger and more compact thanks to their waffle weave microfiber design. This lightweight, flexible material provides a generous surface area when unfolded, yet folds down compactly, giving you more coverage without taking up extra space in your bag.
Kawelä’s waffle weave microfiber dries quickly thanks to its textured surface and fine fibres. Air circulates easily through the fabric’s tiny pores, helping water evaporate faster and allowing the towel to dry much more quickly than a traditional towel.
Even when wet, Kawelä’s embossed microfiber cloth continues to wipe effectively. Unlike traditional towels, which can quickly become saturated, its fibres hold water while maintaining their absorbency, allowing it to perform consistently from start to finish without leaving a damp feeling.
